Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Here you will find our range of Cylindrical Roller Bearings – you will find that as well as offering various branded types we also have budget alternatives available. The Cylindrical rollers are used as the rolling elements (Similar to balls in ball bearings). As such, the rollers have a greater linear contact area with the outer ring and distribute loads across a wider surface. Consequently, they have a relatively high radial load capacity and are suitable for high speeds. Please click here for more information regarding the bearing suffixes and identifying bearings.

Prefixes Examples

N = The N-type cylindrical bearing consists of two integral ribs on the inner ring that retain the rollers and cage.

NU = NU has a separable inner ring and the cage and roller complement mounted to the outer ring. No thrust capacity.

NJ = Features two integral ribs on the outer ring and a single rib on the inner ring.

Suffixes Examples

M = Machined brass cage located in the outer ring bore.

V = Full complement of rolling elements – no cage.

Typical Application examples include: Power Transmissions, Aggregates, Marine Applications, Pumps, Gears and Drives, Rotary Dryers, Construction Equipment etc.
