Arrow Engineering Components Ltd. / Fish4Parts Ltd. have reached the final of the Salford Business Awards, the Community Award. We are proud to be attending the final on 26th May 2016 at the AJ Bell Stadium. Here is an infographic outlining our contribution to the Salford community since 2007.
Business men Russ Arrowsmith, Lee Kenney, Kev Heap, John Edmundson and Chris Wood all had been involved with boxing many years ago and stepped back into the ring by setting up a “White Collar” boxing event for un-boxed local business men. These events help raise money for local charities, such as The Salfordian Trust, Francis House Children’s Hospice.
Fish4Parts is proud to be a sponsor for the White Collar Fight Night in aid of Francis House Hospice in Didsbury.
Russ Arrowsmith, a Salford amateur boxing stalwart, our MD, and a key figure in Arrow boxing club; also roped in Kev Heap, general manager of Edmundson Electrical, who boxed at the famous Marchant’s gym in Salford, and Chris Wood, sales director of MAP Engineering and who will put his unbeaten four-fight record on the line.
And when Lee Kenney, the managing director of plumbing parts company Comap Westco got involved, the worthy cause was decided, as Lee’s nephew Paul died at the hospice in 1995.
Below we show various matches over a number of different Fight Nights.
